Hi Everyone,

Progress in business cannot be achieved overnight and it also cannot be achieved only by investing in new technology, visiting exhibitions, attending technical seminars etc.

To progress in business its equally important to learn from India’s most successful entrepreneurs of printing industry, how they built their multi million empire from scratch.

Here is rare chance to meet and listen to many such successful printers.

Also get a chance to meet large print buyers from corporate sectors who will explain what are the current trends and requirements in Printing & Packaging to meet the global challenges.

Even its important to know from them what they expect from you as a print supplier.

YOU CANNOT MISS THIS PRINT SUMMIT 2012 which is a rare opportunity no matter how big or small printer you are.

DMI’s creative valentine card 100% screen printed

February 14, 2012 3 comments

Hi folks,

Lots of news and updates are to be posted on my blog. First our newly launch Grafica’s nano-prinTex, the nano-prinTex launching party, exhibition updates, textile workshop etc.  But in the mean time I thought let me first take the advantage of this valentine day by sharing this beautiful DMI’s VALENTINE CARD which was screen printed in my recent workshop at DMI Institute.

This card is screen printed on a white paper with 100% black UV Ink as a background color later on top of this black background we screen printed various Special Effects UV Inks and Varnish.

With the growing trend of email, e-news and sms distributing greeting cards has become a luxury. Manufacturers of greeting cards are not able to huge attract consumers because of producing simple and boring designs just with few meaningful quotes or sentences. They all look monotonous that we do not feel like spending money on such card. Because if words can only say everything than why not send an email or sms.

In this dominant digital world (email, e-news & sms) the only thing which will remain forever is TOUCH, FEEL, SMELL & FEELINGS and screen printing is the only process which can deliver better and cheaper than any other printing process currently used.

So considering the benefits of screen printing process this VALENTINE CARD was screen designed and screen printed in my recent workshop at DMI Institute. In this card I used various special effects inks and varnishes including fragrance ink on the red rose and matt UV ink directly screen printed on mirror.

The meaning of this valentine card is very simple I hope you will understand once you see this video.

This card can be used for any occasion or event not necessary on Valentine’s Day. But since today is a Valentine Day. So I thought let me take a chance to impress you.

Happy Valentine’s Day.

Hi Friends,

The week ahead is very exciting for me for two reasons. First, my regular 3-day workshop on advanced screen printing is starting from tomorrow (Feb- 2 to 4) which is houseful as per the latest update given by my team. This reflects the growing urge of printing professionals to  learn advanced screen printing techniques.

Secondly, 4th February is a ‘D’ day in the history of my company. You must have already read the curtain raiser news in the front page of January 2012 issue of Grafica News & last two issues of Screen Print India Magazine about the launch of much awaited ‘Direct to Garment’ Automatic Textile Screen Printing Machine – Grafica’s Nano PrinTex, this machines is indigenously designed and developed by our engineers. The machine is undergoing intense trials and testing and it will continue till its maiden appearance on 4th February.

Yes, preparations are going on at full swing for the launch of Grafica’s Nano-PrinTex. The industry is already overwhelmed after hearing the news of this development. This reflected from the kind of response we have been receiving since the day we sent out invitation to garment printers, exporters, my industry friends, suppliers, well wishers etc.  I just want to reproduce here below an interesting message received from my industry friend, Bharat and Tarun Sethia and his son Tejas of Tarun Printing Works, Mumbai. Tarun Printing Works has received several international awards in SGIA & FESPA and to me they are the best textile screen printing house. Here is the email message received from the Sethia brothers.

Dear Bhargav,

We came to know that you have designed an Automatic Screen Printing Machine which is the first if its kind Indian Machine.

We are very glad to hear this news as all the automatic screen printing machines used in India are being imported from other country and there is dire necessity of the machine manufactured by taking in view the requirement of Indian Screen Printing industry, and with this your effort, we strongly feel that that need will be fulfilled.
